ALERT! Sony MPEG4 capable TV's can't tune in Irish DTT at the moment.

As original thread details, you can't tune in Irish DTT channels on an MPEG4 capable Sony TV at the moment. Neither my W4000 or V4500 series will find Irish DTT channels since Friday evening. Tried the digital manual tuning option. (channel 53 from Clermont Carn). Didn't use auto tuning option as I was afraid of losing already stored stations. You can continue to view these luckily enough though.

So don't delete anything or attempt to fix with a factory reset would be my advice at the moment. Gonna be annoying though for anybody who has bought an MPEG4 capable Sony TV in the last day or two. It seems they wont work. Obviously something to do with the ongoing DTT tests, as both my TV's continue to find and store DTT stations from Divis.

Also other brands not affected it seems. I have an LG (LH2000 series) and it continues to find and store Irish DTT channels.

I tried retuning my Sony KDL40S3000 mpeg2 TV the other day, and it found no DTT stations atall, but it still tunes into them as it did not delete the old settings. It has always worked before. Something is going on.

This is getting very annoying for sure, if they could just launch the proper service to a set standard and it'd be an end to niggling problems like this
