Which beach? My favourite is Old Head. Follow the signs of Louisburg, head past Croagh Patrick and you'll see the signs for it on the LHS. It's a good bit outside westport though.

Best beach is Beartra beach. Go out the Louisburgh road and about a km after the Croagh Partrick car park (Cambell's pub and the famine memorial) there is a turn right to the beach. Great place for a walk and you meet most people there eventually. Enjoy
