Watched the original pilot last Summer.. wasn't impressed!

Watched the aired pilot yesterday and still wasn't impressed!

The primary problem is the kids are still weak comedically. I know it's only the first episode.. but kids in comedy roles have been very solid this year with there not being a single weak link in the young cast of 'The Middle' and 'Modern Family'.

Watched the first part. They quickly threw in the main characters and the background info you need to know, all within a total of 22 minutes.
Its too early to say what way it will go but it does have the potential to go somewhere.
Time will tell what exact direction.

The youngest cheekiest kid looks to be the best character in it so far.
Trouble on two legs and a mouth to match! LOL

Thought the new pilot was much better than the original... The recasting of the two kids was a good move and I like the plot... Looking forward to more of this...

Got a lot done in a short space of time. I'll probably check it out again next week. I don't think the cast is strong enough to let this show survive.

While an official cancellation has not been announced, Sons of Tucson is likely joining 'Til Death on the dead series train.
After Sunday night's episode, which drew only 3.13 million viewers, Fox has pulled the half-hour comedy from the schedule until June 6, TVGuide.com has confirmed. The show will then shift to Sundays at 7:30/6:30c to air its final nine episodes.
An official announcement on the fate of the series won't be made until May.

I dont think its the kids in the show more I think its just been badly written/executed. The idea behind it had some good possibilities but the way its played out means to me theres a serious lack of someone to root for since all the characters are pretty self centred and appear to be only looking out for themselves. None of that makes me want to care about the characters and what they’re going through. At least in The Middle the characters have a bit of humanity and stick together from time to time where as I’ve not seen that in Sons of Tucson.
