Bodyshop in South Dublin?

Anyone recommend a good bodyshop in south dublin or city centre or thereabouts that could fix a small dent and paint scrape on a rear wing? The finished job would have to be perfect and undetectable, so no "sure it'll do" merchants please.

I've heard Dennings and Carcraft in Dublin 3 are good.

R&e motors in the greenhills road in tallaght. They do a good bit of work but no jobs is too small, they may even give you a lend car

I've never used Dennings but have seen their work, and it was excellent.

I've used Crofton Motors twice and, although they offer very good value for money, I wouldn't quite describe their work as indetectable. They're very easy to deal with though, and helpful if you're not happy about something. My brother had a small problem with a repair to his car and called the manager about it. He didn't really feel that it merited rectification, just wanted the manager to know. The response he got was very apologetic, 'that's not how we do things, we'll collect the car and give you a replacement while we sort it out'. If it were my own car, paying my own money, i'd use Crofton and make it clear in advance that i'm particularly fussy.

if you want it done properly and are prepared to pay a little extra i would recommend gerry maguire in percy place, again let them know exactly what you expect.

Ye Crofton are not bad at all. I remember going to them a few times over the years getting bits n bobs done with jap cars I had imported here and there prepping them for the Nct and they were very good to me. Although this was over 5 years ago, have no idea who is working in there now though or if it is under the same management.

In my days in the fleet business, I used Crofton hundreds of times and found them excellent. Everything was repaired in the time agreed and if there was a problem with parts availability they let me know immediately. They did a small job on my Bora a few years ago and it's definitely undetectable.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm still waiting to hear back from Carcraft and Dennings, so I might give Croftons a call and see what they suggest.

This is what I need fixed...caused by stupidity -mine!

+1. I used them for a similar small piece of work once and found them good to deal with, reliable + good enough value for money. Shop around though.

BP Auto Craft beside the Credit Union just off Bath Avenue, near Shelbourne Road is worth a look too. D4/Ringsend so close enough to town. Great work and reasonable. PM me if you need more info on them.
