Ok guys, Having seen Jtsuited decide he might give vinyl a go I decided to try some button pushing just to see what it was really like. I'd messed around with fruity loops and had a copy of ableton that i abandoned after a few attempts but I decided to give another go. I never made a track before but i had a try this evening. Here's what i came up with. Please feel free to absolutely rip the p1ss if so desired I know nothing about mastering so apologies if it sounds a bit crap:)

    its pretty long.

might help to look at a few basic drum arrangement tutorials.theres a few in the production section.

also the samples your using are very dull(nothing got to do with mastering)

definetly not my style but keep going and if you have any questions feel free to ask:D

Ya, its a bit long alright. I was aiming for epic but 2 hours of cut and paste fried my creativity. I must do some of the tutorials though as its addictive enough and I was surprised at how much fun it was just messing around. I didn't touch on using instrument rack or effects, i just sat down and cut pieces of loops and reassembled them so thats obviously something that needs to be looked into. The mastering side of things doesnt seem all that appealing to me though. Maybe I'll just hire a sound engineer/ Ghost producer to make me great:D
