sorry to sound so stupid, but what exactly is a flapper shoot,,
is it similar to a sporting shoot, whrer you have clays coming from overhead heading away from you, crossers and spring teal

Flapper shoots are unregistered shoots normally organised by local clubs more often or not in farmers fields.
If they are really well organised they usually are over bu 9pm if not there is nothing on earth like shooting a final by headlights.
They are great crack, you meet great lads at them and youll probabally find the best shooters shooting with the worst in the country beside them.

€20 for 7 tickets bring yer own shells or buy some for a €5, mugs of tea sold from a burco boiler or kettle working from a genie and bbq'd burgers wet from the rain......ye cant beat it:D
