How would you feel if someone came up to you and said "To be honest, u look like a bit of a knacker, but I'd give ya a rattle anyway!"
How could u possibly decide if thats an insult or a compliment haha

Yeah I was expecting a response to that but I left it in, because there's no way in hell I ever thought "mm, I'd like a bit of clunge" before. Any other word you want to use to describe it (apart from goul) sure, but not clunge....

Yes but then they go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like ..... like well anything really. The awful accents are a real turn-off.

I take it that what he actually means is:

"I'm in love with you, your so hot, but when I see you walking in those broken heels, you remind me of a knacker Still shag you though."

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭cafecolour

It means they've read some ****ty pick-up artist/seduction guide, they're big on those back-handed compliments and similar ****e.

Something along the theory that if you see an attractive girl and lower her self-esteem, she'll put out.

I think I've been in Ireland too long, since I know what you all mean by "knackers". The word means different things in different parts of the world e.g. in north England a Knacker is someone who renders dead animals down to dog food e.g. "that horse will be off to the Knacker's soon". In other parts of the UK, "knackers" are slang for testicles, which puts a whole new spin on "hot knackers" ...

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
