Iphone 3Gs 16GB 3.1.3 Unlocking

    is there anyway to unlock an iphone 3gs 16gb on 3.1.3 firmware?? would a rebel sim work?? if any1 knows anything could you please tell me cheers..

    that post is almost a year old, op so far ya cant unlock or jailbreak a 3gs on 3.1.3
    o2 are startin to unlock the iphone under certain conditions

    see the thing is i didnt buy the fone and im on meteor..so they probably wouldnt unlock it for me..is there a rebel sim or something i could use or am i wastin my time with it..

    What conditions exactly ? are you referring to O2 UK online site for requesting an unlock or have O2 IRL done an official unlock for someone ?

    basically if you are out of contract or have spent 150 euro on PAYG.

    3.1.3 has no unlock at the moment unless you get a carrier to unlock it. like O2 IE/UK.

    Ya don't have to be out of contract. I only got my iPhone in December with o2 and they are givin me an unlock
