    Hi Smallgarden,

I went to the gig on Saturday night and went last year. Personally I thought the gig last year was MUCH better... Saturday's gig didn't have the 'party' atmosphere that was there last year. This wasn't helped by having Jerry and the Mudbug as a headline act.....

The LCD screens showing what was happening in China and other places in the world was good. The only problem with that was that the party in China looked to be much better than that in Dublin. The organisers made a fundamental flaw in picking the headline act and this was compounded by the kind of reserved attitude from many of the guests (compared to the party atmosphere last year) - the gig itself was far too reserved compared to last year. I would've preferred to be at the Chinese gig :-)

i was at it too,the whiskey just made me sleepy, and youre right with jerry fish.although he did try to get the crowd going but in an annoying in your face kind of way.i left as it was just starting to irritate me and could sense people were starting to get bit messy!also the smell of the food was nauseating.im glad i went,it was good craic at the beginning but thought itd pick up rather than dull down.
