"entire new mway network" apparently as well as speed camera locations

New Ireland road map a must for truckers

The Ordnance Survey Ireland yesterday (Thursday) launched the latest edition of its Road Atlas of Ireland.

This recent publication provides road safety information, the location of Garda speed cameras, high incident collision zones, motorway tolls and alternatives in this well mapped out atlas.

The detailed publication has for first time identified dangerous accident spots and the inclusion of speed cameras throughout the country. The atlas was jointly compiled by both the Ordnance Survey sectors of Northern Ireland and the Republic.

The publication also provides advice from the Garda and the Road Safety Authority on issues such as speed control, alcohol limits and driver fatigue. The atlas also has the State’s new motorway network which is due for completion this year.
