Seems good old Bertie has been appointed to Chairman of the International Foresty Fund.

Quote extract from the article "Key to its strategy is that it will acquire the title to all properties for the benefit and protection of its investors"

Now with the privatisation of Coillte on the cards is this going to be a case of the Government handing over Bertie and his buddys our State land for profit?

Maybe i'm reading to much into this but to be honest I don't trust any of them.

If it does happen it seems an investment company will decide what happens our parks and woodlands which will be there for profit and not for people.

Haven't you heard of progress hippy? Those forests could supply Ireland's total pencil needs for the next 3 years. We need them to entice foreign investment into the country, you won't even get a foot in the door without a steady supply of free pencils with your logo on them.
