hiya iv been with a band a couple of months were an originals rock band and we want to start gigging just wondering if anyone could gimme some advice on how to get gigs and where the best places to start out are? Thanks in advance

Find local bands and ask to support them at a gig.
Another way would be to organise a gig and give the main slot to another band if you aren't overly confident to take that slot at this moment in time.

Go and see local bands and network. Talk to other bands and one thing usually leads to another. Check the resources thread of this forum also.
