My 1st Blog - Comments and Criticism welcome!

    Hey, so I decided to start a new blog (years after the boat sailed :pac:) and I thought I'd come here to the guys who know the scene.

    I used to be heavily interested in making magazines as a kid and a teen but I hated the pain of printing them. Eventually the hobby took a backseat for other duties where it ended up gathering dust!

    I'm pretty new to the creating a blog scene (just a few days ago) so I'm learning as I'm going along, my HTML is fairly rusty :pac:

    I'm focusing heavily on movies (trivia, feature articles, reviews, etc) and the odder things to be found on the web and in world news.

    Anywho, I'd be grateful if anyone could throw their 2 cents in on my blog. I'm also having a bit of a hard time advertising the thing (slapped it up on Facebook, Irishbloggers.ie, under my sig here on Boards) Haven't really a clue beyond that on how to get it out there!

    Nice site.
    I noticed though that you can't follow the site through blogger. There's no link.

    doing a blog myself , I an encountering the same sorts of problems of 'getting it out there' as you. There really seems to be no way to do it 'on the cheap'.

    I think if you email all your friends to email their friends etc. Kinda like a chain mail. That might work. I dunno.

    Only noticed that now about the Followers thing, I had it at 1st but removed it and forgot to put it back! :pac:

    Try www.bloggeries.com and sign up into the forum, I got some good advice over there. You need to make 15 posts before you can show off your blog but just reply to other peoples posts.

    If you're gonna be hanging around this site then slap up a link to your blog in your sig like I did below, dunno if it helps but it hardly hurts.

    I guess you should sign up to as many blog directories like irishblogs as possible. I'm surf if you Google it you'll find loads
