Just came to post this...am planning a few of these.

Theory behind first album being played is:
    1) they remastering it
    2) they won't have new aterial
    3) Josh said recently they touring it.

    AWESOME!

Cool! Really want to see this band outside of Oxegen or a support slot!

Are they playing the first album in it's entirety?

Most likely. No new material out before then, remastering debut album, so will be most likely. If not, it'll just be a kick ass show.

They're gonna be basically doing a Pixies Doolittle thingy? Pixies played the album start to finish. Didn't go as tickets sold out before i could buy em.

I wonder will they play anything else of is it solely from QOTSA.

Either way i'm buying a ticket, was wow'd at the last olympia gig, would have seen them play befor ethat aswell if i didn't have such a dislike of linkin park post first album.

Ginger Elvis has left the building.

Oh man, they better add an Irish date. The Olympia would be perfect. They might do a Manics style thing and play the first album all the way through and then do a "greatest hits" style set. That would be pretty sweet. Whatever happens, I'll be there!

I would say they would play alot more tracks , whatever amount takes up approx 90 minutes playing time

Saw an inerview today, I'll link it in the newxt few minutes. Its where he confirms them re-mastering, touring, AND PLAYING B-SIDES/RARITIES.

The bit in capitals is worthy of being in capitals because its ultimatly amazing and sexual!

Your seeing them in the Zitadelle? Was inches/little euros from seeing them there with EoDM and MoR in 2008, looks class venue. Know few people who were there, looks so sweet. Liitle courtyard of castle beside the rivs with s/t QotSA songs...if it comes to it, its Germany over England for me.

Pants wetting occasion is 8.40....tour and news.

Yeah in the Zitadelle. Give me a shout if you're heading over because I'll be going on my own. Doing a mini interrail trip around Germany but my friend ain't flying out to meet me til at least the day after the concert.

Like I said though, €35 for postage. There's no way you can pick up the ticket at the box office. Cost me almost €80 in total.

As much as I love the first album I hope they play some of 'the hits' too. The last time I saw them was Slane 2003 I think so I'd love to hear some more of the back catalogue.

Some details emerged about the tour now.

    Playing REading/Leeds
    Not on the s/t tour
Possibly new bassist(or old, but replacing Mikey)
Some more dates/countries to be added to tour

So yeah, they just wanna get out, play a few dates. Then ot sure exactly what after that, maybe get some downtime and start recording/writing come year end. Hopefully Irish date on the tour, although doesn't seem likely.
