can just about tell you where my dipstick is in my engine and a few other obvious things but thats as far as my car knowledge goes! is there any course around cork that gives people a basic repair tips and basic engine knowledge?! would love to be able to actually have half an idea whats going on when my car starts to give…

I'd buy a Haynes manual, cost about €25 to €30 and cover almost everything in your car.

can't find anything on the fas site, since i'd be looking for something like an evening course i'm not sure if its something fas would offer. might check out that haynes manual though.
