i know in america many pubs pay for Wrestlemania and put it on the big screens. was wondering is there any pubs in ireland that do it?? would probably require a lock in cos of the time difference.

Someone else will give you actual advice tailored towards what you asked for but ill say (and long term it could turn out to be the one thing that would actuallly work for you), get a good stream and a bottle of Whiskey and enjoy the grandaddy of them all in style with your good friend John Jameson or Mr Daniels (I know its not Whiskey its Burbon).

thought talking about streams was a banable offence.

but to the OP i doubt if youll find many pubs in Ireland doing it.they would have to pay for Mania and then risk a huge fine and having their doors closed for having people on the premisses after hours. just wouldnt be worth it.

me and a few mates are just all going to one of our apartments(the one with the biggest tv:D) and get some drink and we will all put cash in to pay for mania. 4 or us so 6 quid each is hardly alot. plus we will have a Raw verses Smackdown tourny before it so should be pretty nicely steamed for the show itself:D

with english bars able to open 24 hours you might find a bar in liverpool showing it.

go onto the liverpool and everton football forums and ask in the "after hours" section

Can't imagine any pubs showing it to be honest. Reality is that it will be midnight/1am when it begins and doubt any pub is gonna have a lock in for wrestling.

I have bought myself a box of corona, and can't wait!! Also a plus, the 28th is my b-day :D so an excuse to treat myself!!

Unless you rent one out I doubt they will show it. Enjoy it anyways whatever you decide to do.

Looks like we all share a birthday lads.
    Happy Almost birthday.
I think this forum should rent a pub/function room and buy Wrestlemania next year. That would be an awesome idea/excuse for a night out.

Having a few folk round for a booze up to watch wm. Looks like there is going to be 6 of us. Should be good craic.

The old Leinister Arms in Maynooth used to show wm and all the other ppv's years ago. Paul ,the bar manager, was big into his wwe and used to let the crowd stay in for it. Good times.......

Last year i watched it in Hooters at Orlando airport. Great atmosphere and added to the occasion being in with a big crowd. Its the best place I have watched wm except from being there.

If the suggestion to book a pub/function room could become reality then I know a few who would be interested.

I agree, could be a great idea. My front room is kinda small, but will only charge a small fee ;)

What you have to remember is that on a Sunday night, pub closing time is 11pm. Even with an exemption which costs in excess of €200 afaik, it only allows a pub to stay open until 1.30am. Where there is a will there is a way though!

Hotels have been mentioned here in the past for previous Wrestlemania meetups, could be costly though...hope the hotel would be insured for a couple of table spots after a feed of stout! :D

I recall this came up this time last year, and it was suggested some of the casinos in Dublin were showing it.

Only a few days to go.... has anyone found anywhere in Dublin that might show it?

Dang; i know in America they do it in Bars and Cinemas. Maybe in the Wool Shed near Cineworld on Parnell St?

Think I might stay up for this one myself. I think wwe is crap these days but for Bret Hart alone I want to see this.
