iTunes backup Query

Hey, wonder if anyone could help me here.

My laptop unfortunately stopped working recently - or to be specific, the backlight died - that and just about everything else was wrong with it too. I have since purchased a new laptop and download iTunes once more, but unfortunately all my music and iTunes libraries are on my old laptop. Since the screen is pretty much useless, rendering it near impossible to copy anything to a hard-drive, I wonder if there is any way to back-up the music from my iPod Touch without losing all the tracks I have purchased from iTunes?

Thank you for any information you may have.

depending on the settings on your old laptop, if you plug it into your TV or maybe an overhead projector the screen will appear on the TV / projector, allowing you to get what you need.

OP when you log into a new pc with your itunes accoutn you will be able to download any music you paid for again for no additional charge. I think you can authorise 5 machines to use your donwlaoded music(dont quote me there im not sure on the number)

Alternately you can use somethign like tuneaid or diskaid(paid for programs) to copy the music/video files from your ipod/iphone

Thats only true of applications, you cannot redownload music for free directly from the store.

If you connect the iPod and click File > Transfer Purchases, you can copy anything that was bought from the iPod to the computer.
