My laptop crashed and is beyond repair!

Will it be possible for me to sync & update my iPhone on someone elses iTunes? Will i lose all my data if i do?

Unfortunately I hadn't backed up my iPhone recently so dont want to lose any new music or apps?

    Can anyone help?

A backup doesn't save music on your device only data such as text messages and notes etc.

If you sync with another pc it will wipe the music and apps from your device.

Im not sure what updating from a different pc will do, (ie whether it will wipe the device).

    Hi

I recently changed my operating system from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and had to reinstall iTunes.

When I plugged my iPhone into my new download of iTunes I was given a few options and one of them was to synch my iPhone to my computer. But in order to do this I think you have to authorize the account which is the last option under "advanced" at the top.

So if you got someone who doesn't already have iTunes on their computer (you might be able to do it with someone who does already have it also) you might be able to save all your music and so on by synching from your iPhone to the computer rather than the other way round.
