Got this email, might be of interest to some of ye...

    a chara,

All four corners of Ireland, surprise packages, seasoned campaigners, Joe Canning and Henry Shefflin all for just EUR 10.

But you have to hurry – AIB GAA Club Final tickets are only EUR 10 from 1 pm to 2 pm today (Friday 12th March) and then go back to a still great value EUR 15 until match day. Juveniles remain just EUR 5 at all times.

The adult match day price is EUR 25 so whatever you do, buy in advance.

All four Provinces are represented in this year's AIB GAA Club Finals. It's city vs. country and Ulster vs. Munster in the football as Antrim & Ulster Champions St. Gall's of the Falls Road, Belfast take on Clare & Munster Champions Kilmurry-Ibrickhane from Ireland's rugged Atlantic Coast.

In the hurling, it's a real-life Clash of the Titans as Kilkenny & Leinster kingpins Ballyhale-Shamrocks challenge the reigning Galway, Connacht & All-Ireland Champions, Portumna.

So set a reminder for yourself for 1 pm and log into your account: log-in.

Of course, Ticketmaster, the w**kers have a 2 yoyo "service" charge per ticket, just to take the bargain element away:confused:

i think bookings through gaa.ie dont have booking fees. they use the ticketmaster platform but go through gaa.ie...

25 euro normal admission price for an adult is a complete rip off.
The GAA should be trying to get as big a crowd as possible for the benefit of the players who'd like to play in as full a stadium as possible.

No. I went that route and it re-directed me to ticketmaster.

if enough people turn up without tickets the Gardai will force the GAA to open the gates for free. thats what has happened in the past on all ireland final club days

When was that? I went to the Club Finals 3 years ago and there was barely 30,000 in Croker- far below capacity.

IMO the GAA should offer the club finals for a vastly reduced price as a good will gesture to loyal followers and because it is Paddy's Day. It would also mean the players get to play in a full stadium rather than one with tumbleweed blowing through.

I've only seen that happen once (2004 or 2005 I think?) and that was because they were taking cash on the turnstiles and underestimated the attendance by about 15,000 people! By the time they let us in for free the hurling final had reached halftime and was well over as a contest.
That's why it's all ticket now, so it won't happen again.

I think the OP was that the tickets were €10 and are now €15.
I don't see how two top class matches for €15 be classed as anything other than a bargain!
