Free Iphone 3gs

got a call from Vodafone yesterday asking if I would like a free upgrade to an Iphone 3gs on release on 25th march.

    sign up for 18 months, perfect choice 300 (€49.50 + VAT a month) - 300 mins, 300 texts, 2gb data allowance.

I have a small business account with vodafone, am currently on perfect choice 100, never spend over €70 a month on my phone, am out of contract and due an upgrade.

I enquired about an upgrade recently and was told that an e52 would cost me €120.

The point of all this is, I'm a very light mobile phone user, and would never have expected a free iphone - bills will be less than my last package aswell (i was paying €15 for email which is now included).

They called out of the blue and I didnt push them in any way......

Sounds like a great deal. Just make sure it includes your internet usage , cause that can be expensive if you have to pay for it seperately.

Maybe the phone companies are beginning to compete for business at last.

I would buy into a Vodafone 36 month contract, if they bought out of my existing o2 contract.
