    Opinions Please
Live cash game and UTG limps with 4 callers and the big blind ships it and UTG calls , 2 players in the hand . The BB flips AK B4 the cards are run out .
The board runs out K High and UTG goes to muck but the BB asks to see his cards .
Is the BB entitled to see , ?????

    Reasons for yes/no please

Anyone in a hand can see his opponents cards. However, that rule is intended to weed out cheating.
In this instance under normal etiquette circumstances, bb should not ask to see utg's cards. It was UTG that made the call to 'see', so he has the right to see bb's hand but not the other way around. BB should scoop the pot and be satisfied enough with the pot, not to ask to see others cards, who could be embarrassed by a bad play or whatever. Incidentally, even if bb had called utg's shove and utg goes to muck, the etiquette is exactly the same. BB should be happy with the pot and not ask to see utg's cards.

Any suspicion of cheating, then the gloves come off and anyone can request to see anyone's hand etc. . .

OK , taking etiquette out of it (good or bad) . Is there a rule in the TDA or Roberts rules that covers this situation.

    From Roberts Rules:

Any player who has been dealt in may request to see any hand that was eligible to participate in the showdown, even if the opponent's hand or the winning hand has been mucked. However, this is a privilege that may be revoked if abused. If a player other than the pot winner asks to see a hand that has been folded, that hand is dead. If the winning player asks to see a losing player’s hand, both hands are live, and the best hand wins.

i would only ask to see a players hand if they kept on calling raises out of postition, but i would only ask once because it is bad form
