No one ever seems to invest in this show and when they do it appears they get goaded into an investment basing it on the apparent interest of their investor buddies.

Would one think that it's the poor quality of the inventions/ideas by the people looking for investment or would it be that the 'Dragons' wouldn't have the same kind of finance as their counterparts in the UK to be throwing money at something speculative and want to play it cagey?

A little off the point too, but half the potential investors that find themselves in front of the panel are always seriously out of breath. How many flights of steps do they have to climb to humiliate themselves - maybe an idea for the show might be to install a few emergency breathing apparatus about the place.

I'd a great idea about getting Joe Public to send me their unused gold so that I could sell it on for a small profit but..

Hmm, perhaps too shrewd. Copying a show that had much investment throughout its series is interesting - when there's practically none on the Irish show, maybe it shouldn't be on television - just a panel crafting ways to justify why they won't want to invest. Not something that makes interesting viewing. For example, it's now into it's 2nd series and that English girl only made her first investment last week. Fair enough, but it doesn't really make for a good show.

Will ya stop, that's the best part of the show, seeing those duochebag's out of breath and squirming. I say add more stairs and an assault course with land mines. We'd see then how much they want to 'make it'.

Was going for Chief Wiggum "They only come out at night. Or, in this case, uh, the daytime."

Get yourself on the show and put the squeeze on them for an investment in your new line of executive breathing equipment.
