Huh? What have they banned, players from texting during games or something? Sounds daft whatever it is.

They have banned clubs texting children unless they have the proir consent of the parent or guardian as part of their child protection policies

That doesn't sound like anything new, other than maybe the GAA didn't realise they were previously breaking the data/ child protection rules or just general "don't be stupid with the data your collecting" rules.
