Just Cause 2 demo

I hadn't heard much about this game until recently when I saw a video. I wasn't that bothered about another open world game until I saw the grappling hook and it looked like great fun. I am looking forward to playing the demo.

Unfortunately, it is taking ages to download from the PSN.

Never played the first one, was impressed by the pics and what not though - seemed impressive.

The game itself (the world, controls, driving, etc.) are a huge let down IMO. Granted, this is just a demo, but if that's anything to go by it's a bit on the barren side.

I kinda liked the demo but can see it getting repetitive. Reminds me of mercenaries.

What I found really funny was you can attach yourself to the gas canisters shoot them and fly off in the sky.

Its a fun game going by the demo... quality stealing a chopper from the army and getting chased by another chopper, jumping out and stunt jumping onto the other chopper and pulling the pilot out and flying that one haha

Well I thought the demo was fun but certainly not good enough to buy. I found the controls to be a bit annoying.

Seems fun for a demo but not exactly the kind of game I'd pick up full price. I'll pick it up in a year or so but the demo kind of does the job for me. Lovely environments though. Very colourful and lush.

If the demo is any indication then this will be just like the original.

I found it odd that JC1 was so huge yet they only put about 14 story missions in it. Seemed like an awful waste of potential.
