Courts.ie listing & case cancelled

    Hi,

Just spoke to a mate of mine who is frantic. He was supposed to be up in court next week but it's not happening now, but it is on the courts.ie listing and he is getting terrible accusations/treatment from people over it.
The whole matter was cleared up for good last Friday, so why is it still on the listing for next week?. It was up last Nov and put back to next week but since last Nov the truth came to light so thankfully he can now get on with his life. Thing is, several people seem to be using this horrible listing against him or as a bit of a power trip. He has just started a new job and as you can imagine is terrified someone will see this or someone will tell as it happened before.
Is there anything he can do about this to get it taken down or can his solicitor do something tomorrow, only found out an hour ago that's it on the listing.

    Many thanks.

This case is public record and it doesn't just disappear. If its all cleared up the case will probably be struck out by the Gardaí on the next date, assuming its a criminal matter.
