Youtube account holders revealed!

    This is mighty.
    Youtube have just linked all of the people I have in my Gmail address book to my Youtube account revealing my friends usernames.

    A guy I went to college with a pretty obscure Youtube username has "Quit playin games with my heart" by the Backstreet boys as a favourite video!:D :D:D:D

    No one is safe!

    I just had a look, but it's not as straightforward as the Facebook friend-finder - you have to change your settings, give your permission and such. My Gmail/Hotmail/Facebook contacts aren't able to find my YouTube account.

    Every bloody time I log in it asks me to link my Gmail and Youtube. No option to turn it off either. I think Google is trying to tell me something here...

    you should probably set your favorites to private anyway just in case someone finds out your account another way.

    Well that's insignificant compared to finding all posts by Dudess on Boards.ie. You think Backstreet boys is bad?

    this reminds me of a while back i logged into my youtube account for the first time in ages, only to discover it was bright pink and linked to lotsa gay porn! My profile etc was all changed to make me see mlike a gay pole dancing stripper giggalo. never found out who did it, but also only spent about 30 seconds removing some stuff. the rest is still there since i barely use it.

    maybe i should go in a clean it up proper.....
