Fantastic! Saw them in Dublin a few years ago. The last 2 albums are deadly.

That sucks Ciaran, I know the Academy are very strict on checking ID, Maybe try slip by them tho and buy a ticket inside at the box office, the gig isn't sold out yet.

Anyone have any idea what time the Dolls will be onstage at???
I might not be able to make the gig after all!!! :(:(

I know they have 2 support bands so I'm really hoping it is a late gig and the Dolls will be on late!, or do all gigs in The Academy have to be finished by 11? any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thats not the only thing, I'm doing a play for four nights, one is the same night as the Dolls. So at least it's not like I could have gone and can't because of the age. For the support, I know that Vengeance and The Panther Queen are one of the bands. Mick Pyro's new band (From the Republic of Loose) Seen them at the first live prefprmance, Really great stuff. Worth going to see. Don't know about the ther band though.

I doubt there would be any way to slip by security. It's fairly heavy.

Most gigs have a curfew of 10.45-11pm ... I'd guess that the Dolls will be on about 9.15pm given the two support acts ...

Yeah this is very strange, just looked up the most recently added videos by the Dolls on Youtube and yup they played KOKO in London last night!!!

I guess the band must have confirmed that they'd be able to make it over today! Pity I was looking looking forward to this gig and now it turns out I'll be busy that night!!!:(:(.

I guess there is no hope of it been postponed and rescheduled either Ticketmaster are still saying its going ahead, and they have already announced a good few gigs that will be postponed, LCD Soundsystem, Powderfinger, etc...

Fantastic gig. Great sound and the band were really up for it and got the crowd going. I enjoyed old and new version of Trash as well as the Bo Diddley stuff. As expected the 'new' songs stand up really well live. Nice to see Steve Conte outside signing shirts and tickets straight after the gig.
It was one of those mid-week gigs that you are really glad to have made the effort to get along. Can't fault 'em.
