    Second replay

Ard Scoil Rís 3-15 Thurles CBS 0-14

What a result for Ard Scoil and a huge boost to Limerick hurling in general. Another tight game from the sounds of it with the goals ultimately separating the teams. Brendan O'Connor (Croagh-Kilfinny), John Fitzgibbon (Adare) and Kevin Downes (Na Piarsaigh) all found the net for the winners.

Well done Ard Scoil and commiserations to Thurles. Both teams provided three fascinating games of quality hurling.

Ardscoil's rugby team was robbed by the ref in the Junior Cup semi final, great to see both sports going well there. You're allowed to play (and love and support) both sports.

Great day for the school, though, congrats to all involved.

A magnificent achievement considering it was really a rugby school until a few years ago.

It should give a great boost to all the hurling people of Limerick, of which there are many. congratulations to all involved.
