Hi guys, buseireann.ie is absolutely atrocious so hopefully you can help.

Basically my workplace is moving to Adelaide Road so I was wondering is there a service that goes directly from Sallins to Stephens green?

    Minimum changes would be awesome!

Any help is very much appreciated.

You can get the train from Naas/Sallins to Heuston and route 92 from Heuston to the Green and Wilton Place which is the Leeson Street end of Adelaide Road. You can buy a direct ticket for bus and rail so this should sort you.

Ah nice one man, really appreciate the help. Do you know if the 92 is regular or not?

fairly regular; they are usually timed to coincide with trains in the morning

they are about every 20 mins or so in the evening

Not easy by Bus Eireann - there are buses from Clane and Naas to St. Stephen's Green. The route 123 bus through Sallins at 0820 would be too late I think?

    Times are at:
    http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1202394373-123.pdf
    http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1261645888-126.pdf

Note in the 126 schedule there's a bus through Naas at 0700 that actually goes via the South Circular Road and Kelly's Corner. There are two return services in the evening via Earlsfort Terrace and the SCR.

Alternatively there is the train from Sallins to Heuston and the 92 to St. Stephen's Green/Leeson Street.

    Train times are at:
    http://www.irishrail.ie/your_journey/printed_timetable_pdfs/2010/Dublin%20Portlaoise%2010.pdf

    92 Bus timetable is at:
    http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Your-Journey1/Timetables/All-Timetables/92/

Also there are additional departures on the 46A/46E ex-Heuston at 0840, 0900, 0920 and 0925 that will take you to St Stephen's Green/Leeson Street as well.

    Hope that's of use!
