Looking at this already nice and early and I am astonished at the hike in the prices for the wed and Thursday ladies day! What a joke! has anyone any decent accommodation that they know of to be of decent value?

Maybe a bit early to start this one but wanna get this booked asap!

the prices are high because hotels and b&b's know they can charge higher prices for that week and still be full. i usually stay in the apartments which are vacated by the GIT students, works out fairly cheap when shared between a few people, they are basic and clean, exactly what you need for the week

Last year a few of my friends were coming to Galway for race week and acommodation was either extortionate or full. The week before the races they rang a couple of houses for rent on daft and got a house in Ballybrit for the week after offering a months rent for the week. They paid 700 euro between 8 of them so worked out pretty sweet.
