    Hi
I am looking hanging baskets like the ones attached in pic for street poles in my local village,311643481_e7132d9d4c.jpg?v=0

Are these baskets as good the plastic ones that have a reservoir?
Anyone know where i can get these?

    Thanks

My Mum has those baskets, they seem to work very well.

However, you do need to replace the lining every year or so. I think she has found it difficult to source them. Also if you get "hairy" lining, the birds will raid it for the their nests in spring! :D

I have seen variations on those metal baskets in garden centres, Homebase, even Tesco, though Tesco's were smaller. I think its a bit early for them to have them in, though they should be available soon. Homebase usually have those liners. If you want a reservoir you could always put a circle of polythene inside the fibre liner, reaching about a third of the way up, to make a small catchment in the bottom of the basket.
