Does Paul Nichols not come across as a complete legend?

Watching many interviews and press days, the undoubtedly boring questions that he has to answer all the time and the pure personability he has, is Paul Nichols not the most likeable guy in National Hunt?

Don't get me wrong, I know he's a smart guy and he promotes his yard very well and efficiently but how many times do we see people at the top get insecure and secretive or full of themselves and arrogant.

Nichols must be the most liked person in NH. If anyone has any contenders I'd love to hear them. He's got patience, class, the right attitude, transperancy at the yard and most important of all he is at 6 Cheltenham previews a year and does a huge amount for the promotion of NH.

Is there anything you can say against PN? (Genuine question and not intended to be a rhetorical question!)

'Legend' is a bit of an overstatement in my opinion.

Vincent O'Brien may be considered a legend in horse racing, he completely changed the industry in this country, and up to a point in Europe.

Paul Nicholls is a very good trainer, but not a legend.
