40mm ID Pipe

Hey guys ,

Just wondering on where i could get 40 mm Internal Diameter piping. Any where i look it's always 40 mm Outside Diameter when it comes to plumbing pipe and some cases tubular metal pipes are also 40mm OD.

Basically im using it to fit 203 grenades but not for skirmishes. Im just trying something weird for fun.

If anybody knows for certain that you can get 40mm ID piping i would appretiate some feed back to this.

Why don't you get one short length of 40 mm wavin and clamp it the get the length of wavin you want to fit the grenade into and gently heat theend with a blow torch till it's soft and pliable and force it over the clamped piece. Leave to cool and then you have 40 mm ID pipe. Iv done this when I was stuck for joiners and the hardware store was closed.
When cool the two lengths will twist apart, it will however be fairly tight .

Just curious, but what is the project? I have visions of launchers, mortar shells, taks etc.

Any chance of a hint of what your at?

I'm just messing around. I always liked rpg's, but i dont like the fact they've got the same capacity as an 203 laucher.
Im just making one up that can shoot 2000 bb's in one shot, why you ask....why not and i got too much time on hands......its totally impractable for skirmishing i know but heh why not....

What worries me is the fact that... I really wich I had any idea how I could do the same, without gettign arrested by the Gardaí :cool:

If you think thats bad then i better not tell you about my other project then...

We'll see how it goes with the first 500 bbs and take it from there...it will be posted some time in the future along with the other hiace project;)
