    Hi guys,

Just wanted a second opinion on this. I have a netbook that I want to install Norton Anti Virus on. I have an installation cd for another pc (3 pc licence) but netbook has no cd drive. I was hoping to download a trial version of symantecs own site which the activation key would unlock but to no avail. I don't want to download a trial version from somewhere unless I'm sure it's 100% legit - Softpedia.com has a trial version - is there any reason not to use this ? (apart from not using Norton in the first place !:))

Why don't you contact Norton. They should be able to provide you with a download link to their product.

Edit: You should have a login for here which should allow you to download the product you bought.

I wouldn't either, i'd rather have a virus than norton.

You could download microsoft anti virus here for free no licence required http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

@Fusionnet , the OP asked for a download. No flaming!

Pageant messiah , why not copy the installation files from the CD to a USB & use that to install on notebook
