Meeting friends in westport on saturday, would anyone have a recommendation for a nice cheap to mid range restaurant for a group of foodies? Thanks:D

Have been in Sol Rio, the Italian across from Molloy's pub, and it grand and not that expensive as they go. Restaurants in Westport tend to be more expensive than other towns in the region.

McCormack's cafe above the butchers on Bridge Street.....home cooked. Could be busy though.....

An Port Mor, its located on bridge street, in the alleyway behind Morans bar, it is by far the nicest restaurant in Westport.

An Port Mor is lovely - but over-priced.

Agree with recommendations for Port Mor, been living here for the last few years and it's definitely our favourite, not too expensive either IMO.
