I'm meant to be doing work (Off topic thread)

How about an off topic thread where people can come for a chat when they should be doing college work?

I'll get the ball rolling: I'm meant to be working on a presentation about viral replication that I have to present on Friday, but instead I find myself roaming boards much more than I usually would. I'm quite a procrastinator.

Passed my driving test today though, so that's some good news.

    Mods feel free to sticky.

    Get back to work.

That goes for the rest of you too.

And me too, I should be working, focus!

Congrats on passing the test. May I ask who was your driving instructor, having some problems with my instructor and considering changing.

Peter from Ascari driving school. He's a really sound guy. I'll pm you his number if you'd like? He really goes to great lengths for the people he's instructing.

Definitely recommend him. I had done some lessons before so I can't comment from a beginners point of view. But if you have a bit of experience you should find him good.

Yeah do PM me his number. I've had three lessons already and had a further three cancelled so I think it's time to go with someone more realible.

Moodle's working fine for me, if only my lecturers would use it :(

Most of mine do, but the ones that refuse to get my goat.
Or the ones that say "yeah the slides will be on moodle" and NEVER put them up.

Lectures done and dusted until Monday week now :) Still think it's annoying they've scheduled reading week to coincide with Paddys day....not that I'm complaining about a week off or anything, I just don't envisage much "reading" will be taking place that day!

I've to write a journal that I should've been keeping for 2 months, and an essay, which I will of course leave until the night before it's due...

    I love Reading week
