I have heard there is a new poker club opening in Drogheda on Friday the 12th march. thy are starting off with a charity 5k-guaranteed 100 euro. turnny this Friday. dose anyone know any more info i.e what other tournaments. what nights. how much. is there guaranties ?

I've just moved into the Drogheda area recently and have been looking for information on the scene - this certainly sounds interesting.

Can anyone advise what time the tourneys will be starting? Will there also be cash games going - if so, what time would they be expected to kick off?

Finally, as I said I've been looking around for general info on poker in Drogheda, and the only other place seems to be the Riverside. However, there doesn't seem to be a website for them. By any chance does anyone have any info on this place?

Avoid the Riverside at all costs.
There is a good game on thursday nights in McHughs bar . Its run by one of the owners of Green Joker Poker. €50 double chance with 5k+5k chips. it regularly gets 3 to 4 tables.
I dont know much about the new place yet but if luke is involved it will be good.
