Heading to Vegas in two weeks for a holiday with the family, and was checking out who's playing while I'm there....

Aoki is playing in one of the smaller clubs on a Tuesday night.

Kinda looking forward to it, have been following his stuff with the bloody beetroots for a while.

what are peoples opinions of him? he's playing at oxegen this year also, i quite like him, he's quite entertaining as a showman!

Yeah he's a crowd pleaser I guess, brings a lot of energy to the club when he plays. I can't really remember how good his actual DJing was though, sorry.

He doesn't really DJ at all - plays a track and runs around on the mic and/or crowd surfing - as above, he's a real showman, but that's about it; it's a bit annoying after awhile.

Having said that, I dunno what he'd be like playing a small club relatively close to home for him?

As much as that's true, when I saw him was better than a lot of DJs I've seen. He really does add a lot to his show, which is better than the many producers who aren't great DJs but just sit behind the decks all night.
