How do u know if your gay?

    how do you know if your gay?

    is it actually being attracted to men and not attracted to women?

    or is it just a desire to have a certain type of sex?

    both?

    not trolling in case anyones wonder, just a question. one of my guy friends recently told me that he didnt thinlk he was gay, but just had a desire to have sex with a man, (and be the bottom, sorry if thats tmi). he said he didnt actually find men attractive, he said he actually is attracted to women, although he can still appreciate whether or not a male is good looking...
    what would this make him? gay?bi?bi-curios?
    he often goes off with women, although has never been with a man.

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    If he's really that interested in anal sex, a woman can wear a strap-on. There's no need to have sex with someone you're not attracted to purely for that. Whether or not there's something else going on, only he can know. I also don't think trying to stick a label on him is going to achieve anything either.

    Could be gay, could be bi. Only that person will know.

    Some people know at an early age & others have married & only realise or come to terms with it later in life.

    Some people repress the feeling for fear of rejection of family & friends therefore never really knowing if it was real or curiosity.

    It's a complicated matter & only through experimentation or following your instincts will you find out.

    There's no real GAY test as far as I know but if your friend feels attracted to the same sex & not the opposite they are more than likely gay.

    Get them to try a few gay bars in the city to get used to mingling with other gay people. They might like it or be turned off but if they wish to speak with someone of the same sex about their feelings it would be the perfect place & they'll find a lot of support & sympathy if they're confused.

    Not that it ever really crops up.


    Also, what would it mean if he was gay? Is there a set of personality-attributes that go with the word? Are you trying to find out more about him by researching a word?

    My friend once told a hypothetical story about a friend of his who needed advice because it was less embarrassing than asking on his own behalf.
