Those examples look very tired imo. I would rather spend a bit extra on something like this which has a fresh DOE cert and looks tidier. The 1.9 diesel is also very robust. I reckon €2k would buy it:

Also have a look at the Seat Inca/VW Caddy:

Those SDI yokes are monumentally slow though.

In fairness somehow I get the feeling the OP is not buying a van for performance. I'd still take the 306 though, alot more comfortable than an Inca.

It's a high miler though and in my experience those Peugeots don't take the mileage very well.

I have an Inca at the moment, it's got 120k on the clock, it gets feck all maintenance, different driver every couple of months and it sat up for the whole of December and January, when I went to start it it turned on the button. Slow it may be but it's perfect for what I need it for and it's a miser on diesel, much better than the Berlingo I had previous to it

If at all possible try go for a Fiat doblo (i know i know it's a fiat but) Having seen one driven up to and still going 210,000 km in 4 years I can assure you their reliability and multiport 1.3 diesal is a grand engine. she pulls when needed but don't be expecting to take a big payload! It sips the diesal too.

    +1

Was in passenger taxi versions on holidays last year. 250-300k km, driven like they stole it and still flying away

Not sure about the Doblo, there dosen't seem to be too many for sale in Ireland.
