Contemplating buying one of these to replace a crane stock on a dboys m4 and im just wondering is the ctr worth the extra money for what seems to be a friction locking system?

I have 2 CTR's and an MOE and I'd go for the CTR, whatever wobble the stock has will be taken out with the friction lock, atleast in my experience, plus the CTR has a QD sling mount:)

When your paying for PTS stuff your basically paying for the magpul logo stamped onto it, in fairness it is very good quality stuff(I have a MOE grip and its top not)

But to be honest it cant be to much worse than the PTS stuff, Im sure Blay can comment on the quality as I think he said he got a CTR stock off em.:pac:

There's no major difference in the clone and the genuine CTR, all your missing is "Magpul Industries" written in small letters on both sides and the little Magpul sign on the rubber butt plate. There are a few kinda shiny bits on the recesses of the clone stock that would have a polymer effect on the PTS one, not really horrid and for €8 I can't complain:)

Are you saying the stock only cost €8, or there was €8 in the difference. Cause from the link it said it was $95...apologies for stupid questions.

That's Hong Kong dollars you're looking at, you can change the currency in the top right.
