Is it wrong? Is it discriminating? What if it is genuine fear?Should there be such negativity surrounding the term?I think not,a phobia is a phobia.

the term isn't used to describe a typical phobia, like Islamophobia. Should be called homohatred really.

We've had this thread before and it's not really what this forum is about.

Homophobia is not a phobia in the strictest sense. It is not a fear. It is simply hatred and ignorance and using the term phobia to descrive it is disingenous at best.
