Is this the first steel cage match in Ireland actually?

And whats the story with the new name, are AWS and AWR different promotions or am I getting confused?

Im not entirely sure if its the first cage match in Ireland being honest. Perhaps Orig Williams did some kind of a cage match with fake hulk hogans and fake Undertakers years ago. Not sure though.

AWS is a sister company of AWR.

That would have been a fake cage match it doesnt count! :pac:

Thanks for the reply. Are AWR/S looking into making DVD's by any chance?

There was a steel cage tournament in Listowel, Co. Kerry back in '04 or '05. Can't remember who ran the show, but Gangrel was the main draw.

In addition to the show in Castlebar on May 3rd, AWS is pleased to announce another show, the previous night, Sunday May 2nd, in Dublin! This show will also be headlined by a Steel Cage Match!

    Sunday May 2nd, 6pm
Good Counsel GAA Club, Davitt Road, Dublin 12 (right on the Luas Line)
*This is the venue the old CPW used to run shows
Tickets are available from 'Wrestling Mania' in St. Stephen's Green.
As people from Dublin have been starved of a top indy show for quite some time, tickets for this show are just €10.
Set to appear are NLW Champion Dunkan Disorderly, Shawn Maxer, Omen and top U.K. star Andy Boy Simmons among others.
