Depends what style match your playing and with what guns, they all have their advantages.

Having said that, my top 5 would probably be:

    Scavenger/Bling
    Stopping Power/Cold Blooded
    Ninja/

My favorite from each perk would be
    Perk 1 Marathon
    Perk 2 Stopping power
    Perk 3 Ninja

    With the ump45

    Ninja

any ideas on best class perks and all?????????????:pac:

There is no one size fits all answer.

For example, if you are running the Scar or similar auto fire weapons, then ScavengerPro is probably a requirement to keep your ammo stocked up. If you are running the FAMAS or M16, then Sleight of Hand is probably better since you save ammo anyway by it being a burst fire weapon. The Sleight of Hand means you get to AimDownSights quicker and have an advantage over others.

Similarly, ColdBlooded is handy on big open maps due to both Snipers and AirSupport, while less useful on maps like Skidrow where you can stay indoors to avoid both (to a certain extent). Also it's a must on your AntiAir class when using the Stinger. Stopping Power though is great in any circumstances as it means you kill quicker. Always a good thing!!

In Perk 3, it depends on your sidearm. If it's a shotgun, then I'd say SteadyAim is a good choice (at least before you unlock the Grip). But also, Ninja can be very handy to keep quiet and avoid HBS guns. SitRep pro can be handy too, to make the enemy footsteps louder. It takes a while to unlock SRP, but can be worth it from then on.

    My favourites are probably:

SOHP/ScavengerP: Depends what weapon I use.
    SPP: Kill them quick!!
Ninja/SRP: Silence is golden, or else Bat Like Awareness of surroundings.

    :)

    Depends on the game-mode.

    Marathon Pro
    Lightweight Pro
    Commando Pro
    Any smg
    Any handgun with Tac Knife

This class is the best by far for Free-for-all.

My arguement is based on logic, and numerous rounds with this build.

Free for all is about getting into more encounters than your competitors. Your k:d is only nominally linked to winning. I've won a few ffa matches with scores like 30:35, 30:36... All that matters is that you kill more than your opponents, not that you kill more than you die, and this build gets your around the map fast... really fast.

I've never finished outside the top 3 with this build, and finish in first place more than I don't. Hell, I've joined games 500 points down and still won with it.

I know that's not too impressive, but I'm not a great player, not even a good player... average at best to be honest. So for an average player to always perform above average in one mode... it's the build. Just try it out.

I've started doing well with this class recently:

    TAR w/ silencer
    M1014 w/ grip

    semtex, stun x2

    Scavenger Pro
    Cold-Blooded pro,
    Ninja Pro.

Silent and deadly. Won't suit anyone uncomfortable with iron sight on TAR.

I seem to play the best this time around with:

    P90, PP2000 both with fmj
    claymores and stun
slight of hand p, stopping power p and commando p
    Sometimes switch to ninja.

I'm trying to get the xp using the other perks at the mo and I seem to get slaughtered! But I have got quicker getting up the levels this time after prestiging. 9 days and I'm on level 40 (bout a day gamesplay I'm not the best at the game)

I cannot use HBS though. Start to concentrate too much on the sensor and stop watching the screen and end up getting wiped by guys with ninja!

you'd have to camp to get many kills with that class. It's so weak.

Rubbish. I run a very similar setup to this with SPP instead of CB, and regularly get kill totals like that without ever camping. The lack of deaths is possible if you are smart in how you move around the map, added to a bit of luck. :)

The TAR is a savage gun, on a par with the SCAR and AK47 for damage. And the M1014 is the best shotgun in the game imho. Add to that the fact that I think the silencer is the best attachment in the game cause it makes you invisible on the minimap.

It's not weak at all! No reason you couldn't do this score easily without camping.

The only slightly weak part is the ColdBlooded instead of Stopping Power. But with the TAR, it's just a 3 shot kill instead of 2. Given they can't see where the shots are coming from due to the invisible factor, that isn't a problem usually.

Cold blooded is the reason it's weak. Cold Blooded and a silencer reduces the damage greatly on a gun. It works well with just one equipped but even the SCAR takes nearly a full clip when both are equipped. You'd have to get very close without many people becoming aware of the other guys shooting. I'm not saying it can't be done but it'd be very difficult to recover if the guy gets the first shot in as it takes so many extra bullets for you to kill him. The only way i can see scores of like 25-5 with it is by camping, but fairplay if you can get it by rushing

Okay, first up, I forgot about the damage reduction of the silencer. This coupled with CB does indeed mean it's a bit tougher to win 1v1's, and very hard if he sees you first. So sorry about that. (It's not impossible though. ;) )

Secondly, there is a middle ground between camping and rushing. That's where I usually play.

You'd expect it to be weak with silencer and cold-blooded but it actually isn't. It is usually 5 shot kill or there abouts when silenced I find and the M1014 stays at one shot kill.

I didn't camp for this round. I started at the side of the map with the bridge thingy. I went down the open field to the right of the map. Got first blood. Then semtexed sniper on the roof of the garage. Looped anticlockwise around the map and cleared the 3 story building. I now had called in a predator and harriers. Staying to that side of map, I went back down to the garage where they were spawning, called in pavelow (harrier kills), and spent the next 2 minutes hanging around there moving between the garage, shops, wood cabin and train tracks. They were spawn trapped and I kept moving from place to place (so that the place where I last killed someone was in my view) and the revenge killers only came at me one by one. I was beautiful! :P

Edit: BTW Silencer doesn't reduce damage, just range. If you keep within 1/4 map distance of them, it doesn't affect the weapons power.

I can only use iron sights on the tar ,i find the red dot takes up too much of the screen.

Na, usually use some assault rifle and just circle around the edges of the map.

ye gotta take your team into account i vary things a lot when its just me but when im playing with all my mates its claymores , smokes and a combo of snipers and lmg's for the lot of us . we'll take a large enough area and hold it down for the whole match . scavanger pro and u keep ur lmg and claymores topped up steady aim pro for snipers and lightwieght for lmg's and ninja pro because we all play hardcore and you dont wanna show up on a heartbeat . yet to loose when im playing with my mates and yet to get in the negatives with my k:d . enemy team just keeps coming at us one at a time never seem to use any tactics at all its amazingly thick of them
