    Hello,

I've been told that when I get called for the JSA Means Test, I''ll need to have proof that I have been looking for a job.

I haven't even got an interview in nearly 9 months and most places are not not responding with even a note that my application has been successful. Those that do, have done so by phone.

How can I prove I've been looking in this situation?

    Cheers

Have you emailed your cv to any employers- then showing your sent box will work.

They are aware that people aren't recieving PFOs.

When I went in they gave me a form to fill out for the details of the jobs I'd applied to - which business, what position, how I applied, what happened (did I get a call back etc)

I can't remember exactly since it was back in August. But as long as you have applied for jobs and you've remembered details (I just used my sent box as a refresher) you'll be fine.

I agree with all the comments, i recall the social welfare used to get people to bring a form with them when applying for jobs and have the premises jobs were sought in stamp and sign as proof an effort was being made. It was ludicrous and eventually employers refused to sign the forms. I believe the social welfare finally saw sense and gave up on this silly practice.
