I was reading in another thread that the social will pay for breast augmentation under the medical card scheme if the person suffers from depression due to this and it reminded me that I heard before that if a person also suffers from depression due to going bald the medical card scheme will also cover the cost of hair transplant surgery. Has anybody else heard of this and if so where can more information be found on this scheme?

I hope that's not true. Getting a new pair of tits or a new head of hair won't cure depression. People should get proper help for depression (via medical card or whatever), not a quick fix solution.

I'm on the waiting list for Farrah Fawcett's hair myself.

Different strokes for different folks. I'm pretty sure I will have a smile from ear to ear if this is true.

They take the hair from your arse though.
A friend of mine had it done, but it was a disaster.
He had to be rushed to A&E the next day, as it blew off.

well smiley girl, you don't sound happy with me but the reason is the medical card benefits come under social benefits and this forum deals with hearsay and gossip and may lead me to the right source of information. cheer up and don't worry about these things.

This stupid topic was already closed in another section. Please provide facts to back up your claim. Its typical. Stigmatise everyone on welfare as claiming all sorts of benefits.

It was pointed out to you by caRol the state benefits moderator that its untrue... But carry it on.... I take it you have something against th welfare state.

Perhaps you can back up your claims.... Or just simple take the both to england brest reductions are cheap there.

I found the OP's post hilariously moronic, but this reply really is something special.

This has absolutely nothing to do with stigmatising anybody on welfare.

If you were to get out of the house more you might find yourself in a more pleasant mood.
