Triton T90xr - hot metal smell

This morning there was a smell of hot metal coming from my Triton T90xr electric shower. :eek: Could the motor be about to burn out? The unit is 3 years old and is used 2-4 times daily.

get someone competent to take cover off.make sure power is turned off.could be burnt out connection.again make sure power is off

I find that a hot metal smell usually comes from the brushes burning in the motor.

If you want to get a service technician you can ring Barrets in maynooth. They are the agents. They will most likely send pereka or there own service guy.
