I posted a while back to say I had decided to bite the bullet and get my work done.

1st session today at 8 30am... Was 1st filling and deep clean

1 ) She numbed my mouth with some numbing solution

    2) When numb injected gums... ( Felt NOTHING !!! )

    3 ) Started deep clean ( Again felt not a thing )

4 ) Filling, felt it a bit , told her , then she added another injection , then felt NOTHING !!

Im just home and still numb ... But My fear is well and truly gone !!!

YOU CAN DO IT TOO !!!!

Well done! You are very brave and should be proud of yourself!

I've been getting over my dental phobia over the last 6 months having had over 25 visits to the dentist over that period (long story!)

And delighted to hear it is possible to have pain free injections. I've had 2 recently that set me back a bit as they were so painful. Did you dentist use "the wand" system Surfing_Xboxer?

well done! Don't panic if you are still a bit nervous going in for your next visit though, The fear often runs deep and may return after the initial elation wears off. keep going, sounds like you have a good one there.
