This is a new route, but he did say to me a while ago that he reckoned it was easier than his Slievemann/Lumpy 200 route. Still, 300km is not to be sneezed at.

I will be doing this one...it's looking like a fun-filled month with the Pink Elephant 200, the Fleche, the Ardattin 200 and this on consecutive weekends.

Not free that weekend but could do the Ardattin one. Where is Ardattin and can I assume that because its organised by Sorrento that it involves the Wicklow mountains ?

Ardattin is in Carlow (I think) - a bit west of Carnew. It's a pretty flat route - I think the biggest climb on it is the Holt hill outside of Carnew which wouldn't register on the Wicklow scale at all. There's a good lunch stop at a pub - last year you could pay €6 and get a good feed of soup, sandwiches and tea there. I'd say it's a great introduction to audax, all told - it won't kill you, and navigating the route is straightforward, even if you don't stay with the main group. There'll be a separate thread about it once Paul (the organiser) gets back from his tour.
