    hallo,

interested in the stock exchange and want to buy a few books that explain the relevant terms bullish bearish etc price to earnings and the other 500 terms associated . would also be interested in learning how to analyse past share price etc.

anyone recommend a book/website/tutorials that would help me out?

not looking for a book written by warren buffett showing how he made his millions but rather one with examples of how to do the technical analyses

There are books that specialise in technical analysis of charts, they will illustrate heads and shoulders and fibonnaci lines and pivot points for finding resistance levels. There is one for about 15 euro in hodges and figgs.

I had the day trading for dummies book, and having read the first few chapters didn't i only leave under my seat on ryanair flight to london; and i only realised when i got home.
I am too embarrassed to contact the luton airport and say i lost my trading for dummies book. I know that they will likely not have it. Then when i have gone they will go Oh! What a dummy!.

It's not worth it; so if your getting this book be careful with it. People will laugh at you.

There are also some good books that show you how to do fundmental analysis of companies. These deal with P.E ratio and PEG and do the hard math. They are much more expensive and they have a decent selection in hodges and figgs.

Then there is the book that has no technical nor academic signifigance but is a book that comes highly recommended on this forum.

A random walk down wall street. It is i suppose everything you wont learn in the books your looking for and is useful.
